BECOME AN INTERCESSOR. View our Check-list for Effective Intercession. As an intercessor you agree to pray weekly. There is no length of time required for this commitment. Please see the below opportunities for intercessory prayer ministry:

PRAY ON-LINE: You can sign-up to receive the requests in a weekly distribution or log on the website and download them yourself. Contact Candy Shannon at cshannon@bellsouth.net

PRAY IN THE PRAYER ROOM: You can sign-up to pray in the Prayer Room at your convenience. Contact Candy Shannon at cshannon@bellsouth.net

PRAY FOR CHURCH-WIDE PRAYER NEEDS: Wednesday mornings (6:30-9:30) and Sunday mornings (9:30-10:30) in the Prayer Room. Contact Candy Shannon at cshannon@bellsouth.net

PRAY FOR MILLBROOK HIGH SCHOOL: Contact Doug Walton at doug.walton@philips.com

BECOME A PRAYER COUNSELOR: At the end of Sunday morning services 8:00, 9:30, 11:00. Contact Kathy Meadows at kmeadows@crossroads.org

HELP OUT IN THE PRAYER MINISTRY. For any of the following, please contact Candy Shannon at cshannon@bellsouth.net

MAINTAIN PRAYER ROOM: Do you have 30 minutes per week? Maybe you would like to take care of the Prayer Room by making sure that the Prayer Lists are current, the lights are working, and there are enough sign-up sheets available.

MAINTAIN PRAYER MINISTRY TABLE: Do you have 30 minutes per week? Maybe you could make sure that the Prayer Ministry Table is stocked with resource and check off an inventory sheet of what you are stocking so we will know when to re-order.

ENTER PRAYER REQUESTS: Do you have 3-4 hours on Monday afternoons or evenings, internet access, a computer and computer skills? Maybe you could be responsible for collecting church-wide requests Monday afternoon, entering them onto a list (format provided by the church) that is distributed to all intercessors and make copies of those lists to put in the Prayer Room.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER: Do you have limited time to help and are creative? Maybe you could help to promote this annual event, which takes place the 1st Thursday of May every year. This is to be done throughout the year by distributing fliers and possibly participating in the creation of marketing materials.
