AFRICAN WOMEN-IN-ACTION PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY

WHO WE ARE
African Fellowship is an outreach ministry of Crossroads Fellowship that was established with a passion to reach out to African Immigrants throughout the Triangle.

OUR HISTORY & IDENTITY
African ministry was started in November 2002 as a Bible study group of African Immigrants that were new at Crossroads Fellowship. The class was organized and directed by the Missions Pastor Doug Gamble. After two months, the leadership and organization of the ministry was passed over to Pastor Stephen & Mary Barine. Four months later, the African Ministry Worship Service was launched with 25 adults in attendance. The service was started to provide a place and time that was convenient for immigrants who were not able to attend regular morning services of Crossroads Fellowship because of their work schedules.
Initially this service was offered once per month then moved to two Sundays per month for the year of 2003 and the year 2004. In January 2005, we started offering this service every Sunday from 3:30 - 5:00 P.M. Then, in May 2006, Stephen Barine was commissioned as the official Pastor for our African Fellowship.

OUR PURPOSE

We exist to offer a church home for all Africans and their friends from all nationalities to gather and develop friendship, talents, study the Word of God, pray together for the needs of our families and to experience international worship services for the glory of God.

PASTORAL LEADERSHIP
Crossroads African ministry is led by Pastor Stephen Barine and a team of volunteer ministry leaders under the leadership of the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Fellowship.
