Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a morning fellowship for mothers of infants through kindergarten-age children where women make friends, receive support, guidance and encouragement from each other. The 2009-10 theme, Together on Planet Mom, helps moms understand that when they become a mom, all their relationships change. It’s like landing on a different planet – Planet Mom – and the relationships on Planet Mom don’t look line the ones on their previous planet.

MOPS International annual registration fee is $21.95. This entitles you to a MOPS magazine subscription, a free copy of the 2008-09 theme book, Life on Planet Mom: A Down to Earth Guide to Your Changing Relationships, and other benefits. An additional fee to cover childcare, craft and hospitality expenses will be paid at the first meeting of each semester. If you have questions, contact Susan at 761-7241.

Visit the Crossroads MOPS website for lots of helpful information.

Praying Wives
Prayer & Fellowship Group

-----Off for the Summer.----

Contact: Jen Day, jenday357@aol.com

As a Christian woman married to a non-believer, you may have found it difficult to find a fellowship or study group that directly addresses this issue. It creates a very different dynamic in our faith walk. There are different choices to make, consequences to consider and a partner who does not share our understanding of the authority of God. Yet, we are called to remain faithful to our marriage and to love our husbands. This group allows women to empower and encourage each other using God’s word and prayer as they stand firm in truth and grace in an unequally yoked marriage.
