Women of the Word Bible Studies Monday Evenings: Walking Out Our Faith | REGISTER ONLINE
Begins September 8
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us on Monday nights at Crossroads as we explore ways to Walk Out Our Faith. Choose from one of three study opportunities to expand your journey with Christ. Our groups are Biblically-based and offer varying levels of homework with both video and classroom teaching available. See the three options below for specific studies.
OPTION 1: Grow and Go
Contact: Charee Cooper (chareec5871@hotmail.com)
Grow and Go groups are small, relationship-driven groups that offer a structured environment to develop a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ through learning to become a self-feeder. These groups use a specific format for sharing, prayer and encouragement as they call one another to maturity in Christ.
OPTION 2: To Live Is Christ
Contact: Laurel Walter (swalter@nc.rr.com)
To Live Is Christ is Beth Moore’s study on Paul and servant-hood. This class will include video instruction and small group discussion about the weekly lessons. Homework is 30 minutes daily.
OPTION 3: Putting Faith to Work
Contact: Paige Smith (paige@smithfordgroup.com)
Experience the life-changing reality of “Christ in you” as you walk out your faith at home, at work, and in relationships. In-person Bible teacher, Louann Bertram, will lead us through Colossians and Philemon. Teaching time will be followed by small group discussion of the material presented and sections of the book, Notes to a Working Woman, by Luci Swindoll. Homework will include some Bible and book reading each week, as well as the application of lessons in your daily life.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a morning fellowship for mothers of infants through kindergarten-age children where women make friends, receive support, guidance and encouragement from each other. The 2008-09 theme, Adventures in Mothering, equips moms to learn more about themselves as they go through the adventure of motherhood, embracing their experiences even in the midst of a mom’s busy life.
MOPS International annual registration fee is $20 before July 1st, 2008. After July 1st, fees increase to $24. This entitles you to a MOPS magazine subscription, a free copy of the 2008-09 theme book, The Mommy Diaries: Finding Yourself in the Daily Adventure, and other benefits. An additional fee to cover childcare, craft and hospitality expenses will be paid at the first meeting of each semester.

Grace is the unmerited or undeserved
favor of God afforded to each of us
because Jesus loves us. Jesus tells us that apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5) and that He will give us the grace to do all things through Him. He teaches us that the greatest commandments are to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, mind and soul and to love others as ourselves. Only through God’s grace can we do this! In prayer, fellowship, and discovery of truths from Scripture we learn to live victorious and full lives in Jesus Christ. Come as you are able (no fee or homework).
