This class is for couples who are fairly new in their marriage relationship. Join this class for an interactive approach to studying the scripture. They also enjoy each others company through socials outside the weekly class environment. This quarter the class is focusing in on “Extraordinary Wisdom for Everyday Living” in June, with insights from Proverbs. In July, “Living With The End In Mind”, with insights from Revelation, and in August “Life At Its Best,” as we look to selected passages in Hebrews. New folks are welcome every week. Join us as we develop our GROUP and TEAM leader skills (see next class syllabus here). This training is based on the book, “Nine Keys of Effective Small Group Leadership” and is for all existing and potential group and team leaders. Topics include church leadership, recruiting, inviting, preparing, meeting, serving, evangelism, and intimacy with God. Cost is $15. Pastoral sponsorship is required. Crossroads is launching teams of trained “ministry chaplains” to learn to be a blessing in their workplace and throughout the city. This class is designed to help people master the more advanced topics of money management and give people the skills to experience the joy of living financially free. This class is taught by financial professional Richard Hill. New people are welcomed every week. The topics include debt and strategies for becoming debt free, basic estate planning, investing and saving, insurance - protecting your income and protection your assets, retirement planning basics, and college planning in the 21st century. Are you feeling led to be more active in missions? Are you considering a short term mission trip with a team from Crossroads? This class is designed to prepare you to go on one of our short term mission projects. The class will provide the proper foundation, spiritual preparation, an understanding of how to capture the team spirit, cross cultural training, ministry without dependency, and re-entry issues. Anyone who is a candidate for a short term mission project in the near future is welcome to participate in this great class.
