GROWING STATION (NURSERY)

Infants, Crawlers, Waddlers & Younger Two's

Our babies are cared for in a loving, safe, and nurturing environment called the Growing Station. Infants, Crawlers, Waddlers, and Toddlers can all be found there. Specifically this area is for children who are two by 3/1/08 and younger. The Younger Two’s and below are divided into four groups (Infants, Crawlers, Waddlers, & Toddlers), that each have their own room in the Growing Station. Jenn Herrington is the staff person who trains and equips the leaders in this important area of our church. PRESCHOOL
We have two different worship and learning opportunities for preschool-age children on Sunday mornings.
9:15 – Lil’ K
Older Two's, Three's, & Four's
Preschool Rooms 1B, 2, & Pre-K

This area is for children who are two by 8/31/07, three by 10/15/07, and four by 10/15/07. Our preschoolers are taught by fun, energetic, and loving leaders. They use a curriculum called Little K. It is a multimedia-based curriculum that combines teaching time, memory verse time, and an exciting time with an animated character named “Lil’ K”. All this is done in a “Blue’s Clues” style format to impact your child with the Bible message. If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Amy at amyandbryan3@aol.com.

Smaller groups and more individualized attention are the distinctive of these special classes. Each classroom is separated by grade and staffed with trained teachers who use a curriculum called Elevate to communicate God’s Word in creative and fun ways toward younger elementary children. Elementary students meet together in the Big Time Theatre for an hour of children’s church called Studio I. They learn how to apply the Spiritual Champion’s principles to everyday life in an age appropriate way. This venue utilizes drama, puppets, media, worship and story telling.
