The Arc of Wake County provides advocacy, information and referral services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc offers workshops on family resources, service issues and trends, and parenting/advocacy training. Programs areas include: the M’n’M Singers, a group of singers with developmental disabilities; CAP services and case management; guardianship; supported employment; retirement and leisure services for adults 50 and older with developmental disabilities; Community Connections, a program designed to match volunteers with adults with developmental disabilities; and People We Are, a group of self advocates.
