Ovidiu, more often known as TT, is a key leader in Emanuel University and the Romanian Baptist Union. He is widely known and respected throughout Romania and other parts of Eastern Europe among evangelicals of every background.
He is currently serving both of these constituencies as best he can while also finishing his PhD at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. He will complete his degree in May 2007.
Emanuel University is one of Crossroads Fellowship’s Major European Partnerships and is primarily our leadership development partner. The school is producing well-trained Christian young people for social work, education, business, and of course, church leadership.
Crossroads Fellowship’s ambition to be a “City Reaching” mission church is very well aligned with Emanuel’s vision for its students. They are training students in the Bible as a foundation for life and society, especially in those key sectors where Christians must distinguish themselves and demonstrate the love and truth of Jesus Christ, if we hope to win back the culture to a Christian worldview. This is true in both the United States and Europe.
We encourage you to meet and savor the opportunity to get acquainted with TT and Ligia while they are still in the Raleigh area. It is a rare privilege to have such a strategic leader of a major partner able to live among us for an extended period of time.
