Bill & Linda have been church-planting in Japan with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission) for over eight years. Their first church plant was in Yokohama, where they assisted a Japanese pastor in planting a reproducing church. They are currently planting a “pioneer” church in Hatsukaichi-City, Hiroshima prefecture, with a population of around 90,000 people. There is no other Evangelical church or witness in the city. The Huff’s teach Bible studies and Sunday services as well as English Bible classes. The goal is a fully functioning, indigenous, reproducing church that can be handed over to Japanese leadership. All this takes lots of time and prayer as Japan still remains less than 1% Christian.
