In April of 2000, Susan joined the International Team Refugee Ministry in Athens, Greece.  She is currently serving as the Short-term Team Coordinator. They welcome anywhere from 12 - 15 short-term missions teams a year from all over the world.  They also serve meals to anywhere from 300-600 refugees from Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Somalia, Palestine, Algeria, Ukraine, Russia, Myanmar, Bangladesh and a host of other countries at their Tea House. The Tea House is currently open two days a week due to financial limitations, with hopes that they will be able to expand their operational hours this year.  Susan also currently visits with various refugee families from Iraq and Iran.
