The Sanders are in their seventh year in Milan and are excited to have met the key goals for the first phase of their church planting mission. They have become proficient in speaking Italian and have integrated into the culture in order to understand and connect with the people they seek to win for Christ and encourage them to become members of a new church. Most missionaries to Milan never return after their first term. Thankfully the Sanders not only returned, but are highly motivated to continue the foundation building necessary to reach Italians with the Gospel of Christ. Their growing nucleus of friendships represents an important accomplishment in their mission.
