The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, in the belief that hunger is unacceptable, helps alleviate
hunger by developing systems to recover, prepare and distribute wholesome, perishable
food for the area's poor, hungry, undernourished, and homeless. The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle (IFFS) actively supports the advocacy efforts of America's Second Harvest, Food Research & Action Center, and the NC Hunger Network. The shuttle recovers good food that would otherwise go to waste and distributes it to hungry people. David Reese and his family attend Crossroads, and, when David served Urban Ministries of Wake County, he helped us choose their food pantry as the destination for our Canning Hunger food collections. We are pleased to work with him at IFFS as well.
