drama
Stories on stage have the power to sway a person's emotions and open their heart to the truth of God's Word. These stories, acted out, can be very entertaining as well as influential for opening a person's heart to hear what God would like to say.
Occasionally, a drama is used to help convey an aspect of the pastor's message. Many of them are funny, while some are touching, but all are designed to move the hearts of those that attend our Celebration Services. Ultimately our goal is to use drama to provide skits, dramatic readings, etc. to groups within the church outside of Sunday morning services. We also have Good Friday productions that have previously been powerful, emotional stories that portray some aspect of the redemptive work of Jesus.

GET INVOLVED
The Drama Ministry serves our congregations in two ways. While those who view our sketches and productions are on the receiving end of the ministry, those who get involved in serving the ministry through acting, directing, and production assistance are equally blessed. During the rehearsal process new friendships are formed and old ones are solidified. Hard work and faithfulness are rewarded when those involved hear reports of how people's lives have been touched. Most of all, God is glorified because His spirit of kindness and peace and joy reign supreme as the performers work together to create a story that depicts life.
-Drama practices (as well as acting classes and
workshops) are held on Weds nights at 7pm.
