Internships at Crossroads Fellowship are designed to help you grow both personally and professionally. Our interns gain practical experience in ministry leadership, organization, communication, and creative work—all while being on mission for Christ.

Through our hands-on roles, you’ll learn how a church operates, develop strong interpersonal skills, and take part in shaping our diverse, welcoming community. Along the way, you’ll build a strong network of mentors and peers who will support your faith journey and your future career goals—both at Crossroads and beyond.

Communications

The Communications Intern will work alongside the Communications Director, the Graphic Designer, and the Copywriter and assist the department in an array of creative responsibilities—from branding to marketing to deliverables. They will provide essential administrative and leadership support to the department, helping manage multiple priorities and projects that support the ministries of Crossroads.

Throughout the internship, you can expect to gain experience and contribute to projects in areas like:
  • print and digital communications
  • social media
  • graphic design
  • print production
  • copywriting
  • and website maintenance

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all areas of communications—and to make a real impact, as you help people connect to and within our church.

Missions

The Missions Intern will assist the Missions department across both campuses to ensure that all Missions-focused goals are accomplished. This hands-on role will provide essential support to the department in both creative and administrative capacities. It will also allow you to gain behind-the-scenes ministry experience as you help coordinate people and outreach that strengthens Crossroads’ missional efforts.

Throughout the internship, you can expect to gain experience and contribute to projects in areas like:
  • multimedia storytelling
  • community and global partner relations
  • volunteer coordination
  • event coordination
  • and administrative support

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in missional ministry—and to make a real impact, as you connect our church body with partners at work worldwide for Christ.

Next Gen

The Next Gen Intern will assist the Next Gen department across both campuses to ensure that all Next Gen-focused goals are accomplished. They will also work with their leadership team to create and execute goals that engage our Next Gen participants and further their understanding of the gospel.

This critical role offers specializations in two age groups:
  • Interns that work within our Kids Ministry will support the Kids Ministry staff in teaching our children, helping with outreach events, and coordinating our volunteers. 
  • Interns that work within our Student Ministry will partner with Student Ministry staff and volunteers to disciple middle and high school students and to organize and manage events.

While some candidates may be assigned to one or the other, others may engage with both.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on, front-facing ministry experience that equips you to reach youth for Christ—right where they are.

Tech & AV

The Tech & AV Intern will assist with production at both campuses during Sunday morning services and special events. They will work closely with our Production Directors in the setup, installation, and troubleshooting of AV equipment. This hands-on role will provide critical support to our production operations, helping produce events that immerse our congregation in worship.

Throughout the internship, you can expect guidance and training that builds your skills in:
  • audio engineering
  • studio mixing and recording
  • lighting
  • camera operations
  • video switching
  • video editing
  • and volunteer management

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all areas of production—and help create meaningful worship experiences for everyone attending our church.

Worship Arts

The Worship Arts Intern will be an integral part of our Worship Arts team, assisting in the planning and execution of weekend worship experiences, staff meetings, and ministry events. They will explore both the practical, behind-the-scenes work that makes services seamless and the creative, people-centered side of leading worship.

Throughout your internship, you can expect guidance and training that builds your skills in:
  • managing worship communication via Planning Center
  • multimedia presentation via ProPresenter
  • planning and leading rehearsals
  • training volunteers
  • and participating in our weekend worship experiences

This internship will provide you with mentorship, guidance, and a nurturing environment to facilitate personal and professional growth in ministry.
