Women's Selah
Millbrook Campus
Saturday, August 8 | 9:30am-12pm
“Selah” is a Hebrew word found most often in the Book of Psalms, appearing on its own between verses. While the literal definition is still debated, scholars generally agree it’s meant to suggest that one pause, reflect, or lift up their voice to the Lord.
In that spirit, our first Women’s Selah will be a space where the women of Crossroads can pray, find peace, and lift their voices to Jesus together. During this morning, you’ll experience intentional, guided time in Scripture and prayer—including a Lectio Divina reading, solitude with God, and small breakouts where women can share what He revealed throughout their time with Him.
Join us in the Chapel for this refreshing morning of prayer, where you’ll remember a relationship with God isn’t something to check off a list—but a space where you can dwell and find peace.

Looking for a place to connect and grow in faith with other single women? Starting this April, we’ll be reading I Want to Trust You, but I Don't by Lysa TerKeurst. This 6-week study will help us recognize relational red flags and understand what God says about trusting Him and others so that we are equipped to make decisions that align with Scripture. Together, we'll learn to distinguish between what we are feeling and discernment from God—and find a peace that only depends on Him.

Join us this fall, starting September 1, as we walk through the study Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. Through this study, we'll learn how to set healthy limits—at work, in relationships, and with ourselves—without feeling guilty or sacrificing our values.

Join us this summer as we journey through The Good and Beautiful Life by James Bryan Smith. We'll gather from June 10 and 17, July 8 and 22, and August 5 and 26 for meaningful discussion, encouragement, and spiritual growth. This is a wonderful opportunity to build community with other women while deepening your relationship with Christ and discovering the abundant way of life that He invites us into. We'd love for you to take part in this summer of connection, learning, and faith together!

Join us as we venture through the life and times of the prophet Elijah, to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine—and how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.

CBS provides individual study, small group discussions, effective teaching, and fellowship. From September through May, CBS offers classes in-person and online for women and children—and also hosts Agape, an in-depth Bible study for adults with intellectual disabilities.
CBS is open to women of all ages and denominations. This year, we will study the book of Psalms. This book has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God's people from ancient times into the present. Join us as we grow in our relationship with God!
